Check out some OM size and Parlour guitars, they tend to have wider spacing as they're made for fingerstyle playing.

some have 1 and 7/8 inch nuts

I have a Larrivee SD60 like this, and an Avalon
lovely to play, just a slight mental adjustment when switching over (more with the plucking hand in fact)

Andy, just curious - do / have you played mandolin, fiddle or banjo ?.
I have, fiddle not so much - I just accepted the nut width / string spacing and got on with (trying) playing  the instrument.
I see this conversation a lot on 'over the pond' forums, there's a lot of affluence and choice and I detect this often used as a reason for not being able to play as well as they'd want - it's the guitar that's holding me back. Older forum members will attest - in the sixty's - you happily played what you could get your hands on
You could always go Spanish but then some find 2 inch n'w to much.

Andy, I'm used to 1 3/4 and wider necks mainly and even made myself a 2inch Flamenco / Latin nylon with a 2 inch neck, because I didnt have one.
I bought a far east copy of an 000  to take out 'n about to jams etc, it sounds, plays great and about two thirds the market price. Only part is the neck width - smaller than I'm used to, after a few days playing the n/w became unnoticeable.
