Come on, let’s have your clips of some good old guitar playing you’ve discovered. Old or new, famous or not, any genre - just great playing.

I’ll start with this gem from Robbie McIntosh which I discovered when I was researching the Suhr Alt T. Solo at 3.00 is tasty as hell. Not the cleanest solo ever but so so tasty.

That is some great playing. but I’m confused - is that the same R McIntosh that was in The Pretenders and McCartney’s band? If so - what’s he doing playing a pub gig?

    Maybe he's having some fun?
The rest of that band are known players with the main one being Hamish Stuart of The Average White Band and also one time McCartney sideman.
The bassist was from Brother Strut and a busy sessioner with some impressive credits to his name and the drummer is also busy sessioner called Ian Thomas.

Marc Ribot playing some beautiful stuff with John Zorn:

    Gabriel Bianco playing Regondi:

Longer, but Mark Lettieri plays some completely insane stuff in his interview with Tim and Pete, especially some of his comping and rhythmic playing in the latter half of the video, or the little muted thing at around 40min.

Andre is a monster - tours with Virgil Donati and played on his recent solo album.

Also - Tom Quayle just put a vid up of himself with his new signature AZ series Ibanez:

I hate that fret ping that is louder than the amped guitar you get from camera mics, especially bad with stainless steel frets.

This is a better Tom vid with the AZ (albeit not his signature model).
