Ahh, hadn’t heard. Sad. I saw him in Motörhead over thirty years ago, his playing was really the golden era for the band. I had some stuff by Fastway too which I really liked.
    67, pneumonia.
    RIP.

    Oh fuck that.
I saw the classic early Motorhead umpteen times.
They were like rock but punk somehow.
I loved Fast Eddie's playing cos it was perfect for the band.
It kind of sounded a bit sloppy but actually, years later when I was doing covers, you realised it really wasn't.
Ah well, RIP Fast Eddie.  A guitarist I've listened to tons.

Too bad. The original Motorhead were fantastic. RIP Eddie.

Just seen this on the other FB.
Sad news, indeed. Motörhead were great!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

They were Motörhead, and they played rock 'n' roll.

    RIP

As for "when am I ready?"  You'll never be ready.  It works in reverse, you become ready by doing it.  - pmbomb

    Sad news.

The Golden Years EP was almost on autoplay on my stereo when I was doing my A Levels.

None of the classic Motorhead lineup are with us now.

He was the first guitarist I ever saw live, he was just so cool. I wore the groves out of Overkill, Bomber and Ace of Spades when I was at school, painted the motorhead logo (badly) on my school satchel and totally worshipped them as a band.

    Rest In Peace Eddie.

I  still watch the video of the original motorhead playing motorhead. As others have said the 'original' & best.
    Rock in Peace Ed.
