I presume the box pro is Thomann's own make (like harley benton) but for PAs.

Has anyone heard anything good or bad ?

Their equivalent is about half the price of on RCF ART 12

We have "The Box" active monitors from Thomann ..... it is what it is, cheap cheerful, heavy and prone to vibrating all it's internal nuts loose if turned up too loud ... but it was 1\4 the price of the HK Darts we have so I wasn't expecting too much

Sound gear with the word PRO in the name usually isn't!

Their "The Box Achat Pro" range is actually very good for the money. I've used it pretty extensively on gigs and for installation in clubs/venues with really good results. Prefer their passive boxes to the active ones, I feel the amps in them are a little underpowered.

@Moltisanti, I see you're in Cheshire. My mates at Stage Production Services in Upton on the Wirral have a load of it in their hire stock, so if you wanted to take a look or hire some for a weekend to try out it'd be worth giving them a shout.

I got The Box 12" passive speakers for FOH, they were so much cheaper than any equivalent. And budget was king at the time of need. They've been great. Not sure what makes the 'Pro' = pro or how they differ.
