At that price, I’d be inclined to get it fixed and sell it for more.
You're welcome to do that...  :-)

When I bought it I was really after something slightly more traditional Stratlike,  but I got sucked in by the appeal of a hand-built Overwater. If it was more in keeping with what I was after then I'd probably pay out to get it fully sorted and would then keep it,  but given my frustration with the purchase (and the seller who was less than helpful)  I'd rather just sell at a loss knowing that it's been sold honestly...

    Really feel for you Matt
Its partly my issue as I am such an impulse buyer but you do get some less than 100% sellers out there
Matt on the other hand is a top class and honest as the day is long

Why didn't you just return it to the seller

I did approach for a full or partial refund but he didn't want to know... eBay wouldn't help because I paid cash on collection so wasn't covered by the PayPal stuff which is frustrating as I only paid cash to help save the seller some fees...

I tweaked the set up / action a little more a couple of days ago and have found that the guitar is playing really well. If you like a similar set up to how I like mine, you may decide to overlook the truss tod issue as you may never want to change it...

OK fretboarders,  those of you with a discerning eye,  a spirit of adventure and a sense of vision....

    £350.

Even at the earlier prices people recognised this as a good deal so at this price it's frankly daft.

It plays well and is ready to go,  but at this price you could throw some money at it to get it perfect...

And it sold... to a local guy who's a pro session musician.

Although I lost a lot of money on this guitar I'm going to focus on the positive which is that the buyer was really pleased with it and said I'd set it up perfectly :) which is no small compliment.
