Restoring gloss finish

What's Hot
Just before Xmas I bought a s/h black Yamaha apx guitar. It had a number of chips and drinks and as it was inexpensive I thought Id try my hand and doing some drop fill repairs.

The drop fills have gone quite well (surprising myself in the process) but I can't seem to restore a gloss finish on the top of the guitar where the fills have been done.  I've gone right through to 10k grit sand paper but the areas are still looking matt (but very smooth).

Any tips to restore the glossy shine to match the original finish?

Which one of the many variants: "professional scratch remover", "professional paint renovator", "professional turbo detailer", "bodyshop detailer", "professional colour restorer"? (or one of the others that are all called "G3")

To remove the fine scratches, scratch remover would be best. ;-)
