    Thanks Brad ...I'm just using guitar straight into Bias Fx...if found that I am getting better sounds by working with the guitar volume...on this the volume was around the 2 mark and the model was fairly high gain ... but not metal type gain ..

    Excellent. I really like that.

    Bias FX is one of the few ampsims I haven't got and I've read mixed reports. You certainly make it sound good, but I expect you'd make anything sound good.

    It's not a competition.

    Thanks...yeah Bias Fx is good for the heavier sounds I think but I found as I said above working with the guitar volume really helps ..I used to do the same with a ux1 line 6 ...it's really helped a lot to get them inbetween sounds :)
