Broad question but at the moment I’m on a bit of a pedal buying mission and wondered what are everyone’s favourite drive pedal?

Currently I’m still head over heels for my Hudson Broadcast Dual

Kingsley pedals sound fairly fantastic and come in a variety of flavours...Jester takes some beating, and the pedal of the same name is superb:)

Distortron is worth a try for the marshall sound. Percolator? (cough*cough* check the classifieds *cough*) You have the broadcast and, beyond a nice n loud valve amp, overdrive doesn't sound much better.

I own a Fulldrive 2 FM, King of Tone V2, Friedman BE and a Klon. I'm also borrowing a BJF Honey Bee. For home use the Honey Bee is very nice. For proper volume stuff the Klon is unbeatable.

  • Boss OD-1 and SD-2 for me. they just do the job really well. Still tweaking the SD-2 to find the sweet spots but the OD-1 is the most intuitive OD I have ever used

ThorpyFX Gunshot has been my main drive on my gigging board for over a year now. Still love the Catalinbread DLS though.

I thought the Broadcast was absolutely ace, but king of the hill for me is the Hudson 999. That one will be prized from my cold dead fingers.

Low to mid gain is the Prince of Tone for me. Higher gain the Wampler Triple Wreck has just kicked a Radial Classic off my board.

I play guitar and take photos of stuff. I also like beans on toast.
