Not the most amazing sound but decent enough and the KH stuff tends to be quite playable and cheap. He often does sales too.
Note that you'll need Kontakt though to use most of the sample libraries that are on sale (sold by any company). So you need to buy Kontakt (the VST) and then the instruments to play in it (the library) too. Once you have Kontakt you can use it with lots of different libraries.
More expensive alternative libraries are by companies like Spitfire Audio, 8dio, Chris Hein, Cinesamples, Orchestral Tools, etc but can cost from hundreds to thousands.
http://virtualplaying.com/ offers a load of free instruments (never used it though).
http://vis.versilstudios.net/vsco-community.html another freebie (I've also never used it either but it sounds reasonable from the demos).
https://vi-control.net/ is a useful forum that has a lot of sample users, makers and (some "big name") composers.
