@Legionreturns @Bridgehouse - I think we might have to start thinking about setlist/s.

One for the Sat afternoon.
One for the Sun morning (the acoustic set perhaps?)

And, if we're going to sort out some sort of evening "performance", another one for then too??

Yes. Sat afternoon standard set, sat evening “performance set” - I suggest songs rehearsed on sat afternoon. Sunday I recommend a mix - some acoustic, some full band.

@Legionreturns - are we still camping security detail on sat evening?

How about a 30 minute Champagne Supernova Odyssey???! I'll walk away from the drums for a cup of coffee then pop back to end it.

Setlist structure sounds sensible to me. Have you got the time to organise?

Attendees get to suggest 3 (?) tracks, and we (ie you, me & he) then distill the actual lists from the suggestions, plus the existing core of songs that typically get played at these events and sort out who's doing what on which? Be good to get some fresh ones in as well as some of the core ...

If acoustic, then def sunday morning/hangover time

Also, being the size of sasquatch, i think there were 2 practise rooms and the main studio area. Need to make sure that full drum kits in both rooms as there was only 1 and a half last time so practising full songs was sometimes a little tough.

@TTony @Bridgehouse some time ago I agreed to run a separate room and list for the gig practice. My plan was to have a much more fluid session where we can mess with arrangements, keys etc and get them slick.

I'm happy to do this on a separate thread and kick it off now. Ok?

I have plenty of drum kits, all 3 rooms can have a full 5 piece kit with hardware etc

Can I propose Oasis - Rock and Roll Star its a fairly easy beginners track with a bit more than basic chords and a simple solo - and easy to sing!

As for main setlist, I'm going to leave myself off that for now. I think I'll have my hands full with organising people and gig list / logistics. If there are spaces on Sunday I'll sign up for singing / rhythm duties.

And yes @Bridgehouse , we're still camping / security, and you're still little spoon

It’s a fab venue - Bob (owner) is a legend - and a much better bass player than me.

What's the target number to make a decision positive? Once we hit that number we can, I'm sure, bully some more suckas coax a few more people into confirming once they know it's going ahead.
