Princeton amp handbuilt in N.Ireland.
Sounds great and is light and easy to transport.
Based on blackface Princetons it also has a boost circuit which bypasses the tone controls and drives the amp to break up.
Power 2 x6v6
Preamp 2 12AX7

£600 ONO

Can it, legally, be called a Princeton as it is not a Fender amp?

    Just asking........

It’s safe to say it’s a “Princeton type” amplifier. It was made by Gary Agnew who is a local amp builder here. His work is absolutely stunning. Haven’t spoken to him for a while though.

The boutique amp makers would be buggered if they couldn't use terms like Princeton-type, Tweed-like, Plexi-style, etc.

I used to live in Ballymoney! Above toy shop in the High Street. Once saw Ian Paisley march past my window.

Didn't play guitar when I lived there so have nothing relevant to add.

I'm surprised you made it out of Ballymoney alive and with all of your organs

It's the sort of place you may hear the conversation " I'm waiting on my sister and my mother. Here she comes."

I know he was called "Big Ian".......but I didn't realise he was that tall!........:-)

( and apologies to the OP for further derailing your FS thread........that looks like a very nice little amp and I have also heard good things about that builder....... I'm surprised she hasn't sold yet!)
