i'm with you there.  I had the 60's bass version for a while and love the shape

the clear looks daft, i love the blue

fairly obvious someone at Schecter is also a fan

Having asked the other day what’s this guitar in another Discussion and it turned to be a Spectrum and now they’re everywhere. Looked impressive up on stage last weekend although I’m not sure I could carry it off.

I like Cort's Offset Stratocasters too - Very subtle
My Aria RS is even more subtly offset - only by about half an inch, but the narrowest point is closer to the neck pickup on the bass side and the middle pickup on the treble side.

Once you’re used to it, the lack of offset makes a standard Strat look slightly lumpy by comparison - whereas a Tele doesn’t because there’s no upper horn.

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I would never describe my Firebird as an offset, they're just wonky.

I'll play. My Toronado custom partscaster turns heads wherever it goes. Only thing I don't like is the lack of a trem. Mind you I can use my JM if trem required.

I have to say that I love the styling of the Hagstrom Fantomen, especially the white one.

    For me, maybe.

I also love @Octatonic 's Raven. It is seriously tasty. I think the headstock shape actually suits the body better than the Fender one (*dons helmet and armour).

With the exception of Wez's fanned-fret Firebird and the Dingwall D-Bird, none of them are as offset as this...

Needs a bit of a tweak to suit my tastes, but love it. Looks odd but cool, and I like the Jazzmaster tremelo. I'll come back to this thread with a pic next week when I have it again.
