I just can't stop listening to Clannad 2

Every song is beautiful but this one follows me around the supermarket

(I've fallen in love with Moya and I'm dreading breaking the news to Julianne. )

@blobb ; Your post reminded me that about 20 years ago I had a best of Clannad Cd. I thought the handful of early traditional style songs on it were far better than their 80's stuff, but I never followed it up. So since last since night I've  been listening to Clannad 2 and Dulaman - such beautiful music, voices and instrumentation.

Maire. But yes, she has a most beautiful voice. Been digging Clannad since the 1980s :)

If by "favorite song right now" you could mean "which songs could I not stop singing or get out of my head over my holiday over the last two weeks" there would be two, and they would be these:

Jack White - Over and Over and Over

    Laura Marling - Howl

You're very welcome. I saw them last year at Keith Allen's new club in Stroud. They were fantastic and really friendly off stage too.

@MagicPigDetective ;They are about to release a full concert TURAS 1980 to celebrate 50 years of Leo's Tavern. Looking forward to that.

@Phil_aka_Pip - Moya, she changed her name by dead poll ;-)

Really enjoying this for the chorus.  Rest of it is basically just a cool groove but the vocal harmonies are so awesome in the chorus (first chorus at 1:39 if you're impatient).

Unless the song title and band name is displayed on the artwork/video link, would it be too much to ask the posters to edit their posts to give this information. A lot of good music, some of it worth checking out. Thanks.

So, 2 sisters that both changed the spelling of their names because the English didn't know how to pronounce the proper Irish version?

You just get used to the pronunciation of Maire ni Bhraonian and then ...
