IMO, both of them sound interesting but one of them sounds more like the original SH-101/MC-202 than the other.

    The 101 is a weird little thing. So affordably under-featured that it ought to be almost useless, but weirdly toneful.

    Had the analogue mono synth in the JD-XI been a simple 101 circuit, it would have been a keeper.

    Also, mucking about with sliders and step time sequencers is fun. Eventually, something usable falls out. Slap on some delay and modulation. Robert is your father's brother.
