    One, a 5 string stingray
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Only the one, it’s an EBMM SUB (the original US run with the slightly odd hammerite finish) Sterling. it’s a killer bit of kit and I suspect all the bass I will ever need. Did also have a sonic blue Hoppus Sig Fender for a few years that was very pretty but whenever I picked it up it seemed to make me play like a bad Steve Harris ripoff

    I don't know - I have a list somewhere.

(And there's one which I technically own, but was lost in a house move...)

    To expand a little:
a '73 Rickenbacker 4001, which is my favourite
    a '74 Fender Precision
a "bitsa" Jazz bass made from a late 60s/early 70s body, custom shop pickups, a Mighty Mite neck and Wilkimson hardware
    a Fender Pawnshop Bass VI
    and a Squier Precision Special.
My wife asked me to stop singing Wonderwall.
    I said maybe.....

I am exclusively a bass player I have 3 really nice basses 2 fretted and one fretless with another half decent fretless I am putting together. Judging by my experience of guitarist's I would say thrt generally have more instruments!

Just the 3 but I love them all equally:

2003 Warwick Thumb V Thru Neck

2005 Custom Shop '55 P Bass Relic (allegedly made for Sting)

    1978 P Bass Fretless

    Want a Stingray and a 4003 then I'm done.

I am pretty sure that I have the perfect number of basses right now.

But you never know, I may buy one at some point.
