    what Hamstead?
    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    I know!  I've had the dual footswitch one too and much preferred this one.

    I saw another single button one was listed and sold today. I haven't even had any offers so I don't know what the deal is...maybe people don't like the colour?

    The regents sound version of the broadcast went for £250 on eBay other week which I think is the same version as this one. Surprised this hasnt been snapped up.

    Me too. I may as well stick it on eBay for a ridiculous price.  It is an incredibly rare limited edition that's no longer available after all. ;)
