After looking at them for ages, bought one this week from thomann on special thanks to a heads up in another thread - £134 delivered with PayPal converted from euros.

First gig with it last night and like it alot!

    It's classic rock stuff - not a huge amount of gain without the boost engaged but a great sound

    Mine arrived from Thomann today.  Bit delayed because of a UPS mess up but still can;t believe the price when they are still £200+ at all the UK stores.

    Probably won't be able to try it until the weekend and need to get the EHX Magnum 44 to complete the rig.  Glad to hear some praise though!

    Do these work well as an always on preamp straight into a power amp then? I always assumed they were for use into a normal clean amp like a typical drive pedal but you've got me thinking now!
