Surely that has to be the purchase of the year for this place?

Lovely amp in great condition, would have been a great buy even without the Eric Johnson connection.  Well done that man :)

FFS James......another unbelievably great score, possibly the best yet.  Congrats.  The good news is I'll be able to hear you from Norfolk!!  (Did I say good?)

Twins have a useful feature, marked ‘Volume’, which allows them to sound great quietly as well.
Hmmm, so why is it every player of them seems to play at volumes that make your eyeballs vibrate?
Because guitarists don't seem to understand that controls can be turned down as well as up.

A Twin is a wonderful-sounding bedroom amp. You can play it at a whisper and it still has that lovely deep, spacious tone that smaller amps don't.

I do also like the sound of a Twin cranked into overdrive, it has to be said :). Which I know is also another not-popular-wisdom way to use one... and will need a huge space, or earplugs, or both.

That’s what I thought. eBay automatically links to a different item because the listing has ended. You have to click on the original listing link.

It's had one half of Eric's clean bits through it so it's like it's been fed only on foie gras for years. Congratulations - the best amp I've seen on here for a long time.

Indeed, but living in a bungalow is almost essential :)

That's awesome and likely to be a pretty sweet sounding example if EJ bought and hung onto it for that long. Congrats!

What. A. Score! Congratulations!  Given the prices he's asking for other amps the seller must be feeling sick :)  Hope you enjoy it :)

    What a find!
Given the same seller has a Phase 90 listed for 5k seems even more of a steal.  Enjoy.
