Bought a Cornell amp recently with no built in reverb so need to buy a pedal.

Wondered what I should be looking for?

Something cheap (£50 used max) and good.

    Hall of fame mini?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Another vote for HOF mini - I recently picked one up from Gumtree for forty quid and it's great.

HOF mini is fantastic. Could always look for a cheap, older Boss RV pedal but that might be a bit much.

Might be a little over your budget unless you get lucky (currently £90-ish brand new, should be £60-£70 used), but if you don't mind paying a little extra, Line 6 M5 has to be worth considering.

Lots of different reverbs, all pretty decent, 24 preset slots to save them in, dead easy to use, plus a ton of other effects too.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

+1 to the Byiang Tri Verb mentioned above. Very good for not a lot of money, especially if you can snag a used one.

Might be worth checking out the Marshall Reflector - 6 modes including reverse and a really nice spring/plate mix. I've got one that I'd be willing to sell, if needed.

I'd avoid the Byiang as it's got a poor reputation for reliability. The only pedal that's ever died on me and when I researched it, on many others as well. Pity because it does sound great.

Another vote here for the Marshall Reflector; got mine off ebay new and half-price.

Another Reflector user here, they're excellent, especially at used prices. I was using various half and full rack units, but the Marshall pedal is small and tough enough to throw in the back of a combo and it doesn't mess with my signal levels.

Digitech Digiverb. Got mine for £25 and it even has the approval of The Gear Page 'sniffers. Worth every penny but if you are feeling affluent the Hardwire version gets really good reviews too.

Yeah, great pedal. I picked one up some years ago for £35 when GAK were selling off as end of line stock. I stupidly sold it when I got a Digitech Polara, but I think I preferred the Digiverb.

Which model? Roughly how old? Does it have an effects send/return loop?

It’s the 10 watt version, not sure the age as I bought second hand from Richtone in Sheff. I can’t see an effects loop but I might be wrong.

If you can reach to £115, I would personally snap up the Dr Scientist Reverberator that @KKJale is selling. I've heard great things. No affiliation.
