If they sell more then 200 of them I'll be astounded.

Surely @HarrySeven will stockpile at least that many?

Never discount the 80's influenced hipster market.

Normally, it would be understandable for a HarrySeven life laundry clearance sale to coincide with the release of a left-field musical product. I suspect that the re-issued Roland AX-Edge is the exception that proves the rule.

Hmmm... something you can probably play quite well with a knackered left arm. I think I may have found my instrument!

    :)

Shame it's called an 'Ax-Edge' though, that's just crap.

  • Previous Roland controllers of this type were also named AX-something. The word Keytar is/was a registered trade mark.

Of course, real men play the Moog Liberation ... and book appointments at a chiropractor.

No, it's not - Roland use it on the website without a ® symbol. They apparently did apply for it, but it's now lapsed - and as such it may now have become a generic term that can no longer be trademarked - I can't remember what the rules are for that, if no-one owns it.

Maybe there is different rules when the primary usage of the trademark is in sentences like "keytars are fucking stupid".
