  • KOT Yellow side, adds a little magic to the feel of my playing and sounds exceptional in my opinion. It also makes any amp sound good !

Timmy - it just improves the sound of whatever amp it's plugged into, and adds that "hair" to the clean sounds.

  • At the moment it's my ThorpyFX Fat General.

I stumbled across some settings that make everything sound better all of the time.

I haven't switched it off since!

EHX Soulfood, my clean sound is a Soulfood with the gain down and my then I just up the gain from there. Great sounding pedal, pity it's built so cheap and nasty

Im afraid it’s more than one pedal for me. The basic answer is my Bogner Wessex. However, I always push that with the clean boost on my Moeller, which aids the cleanup on the Wessex even more, and makes everything a little more punchy.

With single coils, I also always run my Wampler Mini Ego before either.

All running into a Blues Deluxe Reissue.

Outboard tube reverb, Greer Lightspeed and Xotic EP booster are always on.

I'm on the fence about keeping or selling the reverb... it sounds great but is the size of a small amp. I'm also thinking of giving the klone thing another go....

  • My always-on pedal is a Bright Onion Active Splitter, to run 2 amps as wet-dry without issues.
I also have my EBS Multi Comp on most of the time, I only switch it off when using the Fuzz Face, so used to have them on a One Control Tri-Loop to flip-flop between them.

I used to have a Soul Food on virtually permanently, but removed it in favour of my Nobels ODR-1+, which I have set to just introduce a bit of edge or 'sparkle' into the front of my non-master vol Selmer amp.

  • Ethos Overdrive clean channel.

Warm, broad, deep, sparkly ...it's like listening to a professionally recorded, expensively produced and fully mastered guitar - even when the sound is emanating from a Blues Junior!
Not much of the gear, even less idea.
