Imagine this goes ahead, then he gets linked as a suspect with a crime that happened while he was under 20 years of age. How on Earth would the law cope with that? You can't get a better alibi that not having been born yet.

Isn't this a bit like the same-sex marriage cake case that went to Supreme Court recently? It's less about the specific case, and more about the big picture and the legal implications.

Not that I or anyone else cared, but she was a rabid Welsh nationalist, loving what she thought was the glamour and danger of it.

That's what it's about - he's a popular guru who is on TV and he's mocking the way the law in the Netherlands is being used to allow people to change their sex which can have serious ramifications, especially for women.
