Since I hadnt been playing for a few months (and in hope that it would get me back into playing) I've been wanting to assemble a tele
Thanks to the classified section I stuck this together with a set of nocaster pickups that I had lying around.
SC relics body @lonestar ;with relic'd hardware from @heavyrocker and a warmoth goncalo alves 59 roundback neck from @Marshall - cheers guys
Rough setup and it's sounding great and I'm v happy. Its got me playing every evening so far!
Need to sort my pedalboard out now

  • Looks a treat @gjonesy - that antiquey-white scratchplate (whatever that colour's called) sets it off just right imho

thank you, I think it's called mint green. I bought a range of them from ebay to try, this one seemed to go well with it

Looks very nice.  Do they do a humbucker version in that colour pickguard, most I've seen are too green.

Thanks, I bought it from ebay seller bluestone001. In all honesty this one is quite green in certain lights, initially I wasnt too sure about it but my eye has got used to the look of it

Surf green is the best colour for strats and offsets. ''Tis lovely.

That looks great... good to see it built up and in use again!

I like the cutoff tele bridge; looks nice than the standard tele bridge I used when I had it.

Cool, but would be even more so with a corned beef pickguard ;)

This is the first incarnation, I’ve a firebird neck pickup that I’m thinking might go in at some point
If it does, that might be the time to get a torty fitted
