Guitar has been put together, neck angle is now ok. The guitar has had one coat of Tru Oil. There are a few small gaps between the sides and the front/back which I'll fill, then do a few more coats of Tru Oil.

I have three acoustic projects in mind: 6 and 12 (steel) string guitars, and a bass. All with some sort of (as yet undefined) pickups. And a 4 string tenor guitar in the style of 1956 Les Paul TV Special. I'll probably end up doing 2 of these in 2019, but I don't yet know which two.

Yes, but also one of the most frustrating! The headstock was more complicated than building a Strat, and attention to detail required around all of the joints is an order of magnitude more important than on an electric build. But - as you say - very satisfying.
