Had a great day at the Northampton show today meeting fellow Fretboarders and fellow guitar geeks!

This one got quite a bit of interest....

They look fantastic Neil. I have to say I prefer the single cut, it looks bang on in sunburst. I'm glad I didn't turn up though, I'd probably be skint now.  ;)

Bursting a lefty Single Cut today, very pleased with the brown on this one, I've been through 4 or 5 different mixes and this one is now bang on 50's vintage :)

I only saw them on Chris's stand fleetingly at Aintree, but they were getting quite a lot of attention and they looked great - Chris was most complimentary about them.

Very busy here at the minute, I have 2 customer orders in build, I've just had 4 x Travis Bean guitars in for set up and fretwork from the band FOALS and it's all hands to the pump to get the new Ivison Twin Pickup Model (meticulously replicated from a 1957 and 1956 TV Special) ready for the @guitarshow next month!

Unfortunately not Paul, as much as I’ve tried, I’m snowed under finishing off customer builds and moving to a new workshop at the minute so the TV won’t be ready for the show. It was a bit of a big ask really but we’ll get there soon! :)

We're coming into show season Neil, they'll be loads of opportunities in the coming year.

You've only got one pair of hands mate.

I'm really keen to see your work, we'll definitely get it on sometime soon.

    Take it easy Pal.

    Thanks @Gadget, really appreciate it!

I had a great show, lots of interest and it was great to meet so many forumites!

Slightly miffed to hear that another UK builder has been taking some credit for the authenticity of my finishes but I soon put that right and was soon forgotten when a guitar scene hero of mine, asked to try my '59 DC model and seemed rather impressed! The Neville Marten era of Guitarist magazine was a bible for me growing up so when Neville demo'd my DC, I was chuffed to bits!! D
