All pedals on their own power direct from the voodoo labs.   Maybe it does indeed just have a fault although is weird is only at 2 venues and no others.

Bin it and get a Sonic Research. Awesome.
Surely they could fit in the word "strobe" a few more times on their website.

Fantastic tuners, unless you have epilepsy

If you like the Polytune you could get a 3, which also has the advantage of a buffer. Keep the 1 as a spare off the board with a battery in it.

I had a very similar problem with my Voodoo Lab PP2+ power supply. In one pub my Boss DD500 would turn itself on and off and I resorted to batteries. When we went and gigged in that pub a few months later, the same thing happened. It never happened anywhere else.

After that I properly investigated and discovered that the dip switch on the bottom of the power supply was set to 100Ma and not 200ma as it should have been.  Once I set it correctly, it worked fine in that pub.

EDIT: Actually that was not quite correct.  The dd500 was plugged into either socket 5 or 6 but the dip switch had been set away from the normal position ( for line 6 tone core pedals and TC nova pedals apparently).  When I switched the dip switch back to normal setting, it worked fine.

@Flanging_Fred ; ooh that's a great suggestion.  Will investigate that when I'm next home thanks for the tip.

I wouldn't gig with my headstock tuner.. it would get knocked off and it looks wrong imo. Great piece of gear mind.
So you often hit your headstock when playing?
If so I hope you don't rock a gibson
I sometime hit my headstock on the singer when he misses a que.
    Don't touch that dial.

Honestly, just the other day you were complaining that there was too much "va va va voom" power and "electricity" at your gigs.

    Men.

    Harrumph.

    Never satisfied.

I don't understand why people continue to put a tuner on a board especially when power outlets are valuable for powering pedals , real estate on the board is at a premium and the least cable / gadgets the better the signal .
Why not just get a good headstock clip-on like a Polytune LED or Snark .
Alternatively ;dump the tuner and play completely out of tune - it makes the listening a challenging experience for the audience !
I use a tuner as a kill switch as well as for tuning, and headstock tuners don't work that well when you've got loads of noise on stage from drummers and bassists who can't leave the mood of the room well alone ;)

    Bye!
