2019 Les Pauls...

What's Hot

Anyone tried any of them?

I'm rather tempted, as a store near me has the Blueberry burst in 2019 Standard and the High Performance model on sale. Looks amazing, but I'm keen to get people's thoughts and opinions on them who have tried them.

I've got a 2008 Les Paul Standard that I love, and no other Les Paul I've had has compared to it.

I'll probably change the pickups to the Bare Knuckle Mules I have in my 2017 Traditional, so again, not bothered about all the dip switches etc.

I'll obviously be testing it before purchase, but interested in your opinions on the new models :)

  • Not tried any of the 2019, but be aware there's new models coming pretty soon...Gibson are shifting from the yearly refreshes.

Expect some discounts if not happening already as they look to clear some stock. May be worth waiting.

Indeed, 2019 is split into two halves which are essentially "pre" and "post" new management. Worth waiting until the post new management stuff is in stores.

    Good catch. Thanks!

Like the sound of the 50s and 60s spec'd Les Pauls... Should be released in two weeks according to Gibson.

  • I definitely like the look of the new lines they're bringing out. Though I'm waiting to see what they do with the 335's as I'm hoping to get one next year.

I wish I hadn't bothered starting the bloody thing. Bunch of pricks.

2019 Blueberry Burst Standard for £1,999 (saving £400).... or 2019 Traditional for £1,699...

...or Faded Blueberry 2019 High Performance for £2,099...

Think I need to go and get my hands on them to see.

I’m probably on the wrong forum for this, but if you’ve already got a very nice Les Paul Standard AND a Traditional, why do you want another Les Paul?
