numpty question about synths.can i plug it into my laptop and play it through the speakers?

i will be getting a novation mininova next week (cannot wait tbh).

not having an amp though (i have headphones),was wondering if there is any way i could play it through my laptop speakers? or even connect it to my led tv speakers to play through?

    Yes, there will be some form of line out from the synth that you can plug into whatever device you have that has a line in. But even cheap secondhand powered speakers on ebay are going to sound better than your laptop or tv unless the latter are very high spec.

    My keyboard has a USB connector that goes into my Mac laptop. It sends info down and also takes the power from it (good idea to keep laptop plugged in to power!)

    have just found some old time pc desktop speakers (i had lying around) that i think will be great for the job :-)
