Mine is still not done yet and it's too high but i reckon there's an even better guitar hiding under that slightly too high action.
Mine is going to Steve Robinson soon to be done and I honestly think it will transform the way it plays.
How is yours from new, has it been set up and had the nut lowered yet?
I'm the lowest action possible guy.
My Jackson soloist was set to 1mm at the 17th fret. I actually managed to get it to 0.6mm at one point but that did rattle a bit too much playing.
Most of my guitars are around 1.2mm-1.4 at the highest and I use 10-46.
Good for you Mike, I'm really pleased for you that you haven't lost out.
I had a similar experience recently with my big Blackstar amp and when I decided to keep it, it felt like it was new to me all over again.
