    So having read your NGD mini epic i did put the kettle on, sat down to watch a bad company doc on sky arts and Paul Rogers goes off on one about owning one of the first guitar synths and up pops a pic on tv of the exact same gear in your thread!! How strange having never seen anything like it before two identical bits of kit appear before me in the space of 10 mins!!  =)

    So serious question, what do you do with them all? Do you play with em all in a band / record or is it just about the love of the actual guitar itself as a thing? Both obviously equally ok just curious as I really wouldn't know what to do with 1.65 million guitars and amps :D

    There will be no rationale....following the big Amp eviction...he now has space..something which simply cant be tolerated at the H7 household...much like my own gaff...you see, I reckon H7 can sense when I have created space...and then offers me some Zany deal to fill it...thus creating space his end....this has been going on for some time I might add.

    Last time I ended up with a Jukebox, full size football table and space invaders...Im just getting over it.

    I have a question for you Mr H7 as 
    You're probably an expert on the subject of guitar synths 
    i once had a GR808 and the blue 300 floor unit,until someone broke in to my house a good while ago,took the GR808 synth,the floor unit,a Moog Source and a Korg poly six.
    I never got any of it back either. Bummer
    Anyway,fast forward,I really loved that guitar it had a fantastic neck and didnt sound half bad either.
    is it true that Ibanez made the guitars for Roland ?
    do you know if the Ibanez Musician series is based on the GR808 or visa  versa ?
    As i'd love to get one of those back.
