I'd run a forum for the many, not the few

However, if you don't own a Les Paul and an amp capable of decent rock tones, consider yourselves part of the few and therefore immediately banned. Can i be it? I'd wield the ban hammer like Thor and smash them funny coloured fender amps n shit.

Er... no thanks mate.  Wild horses couldn't drag me back to being a Mod.  The accusations of privilege or 'abuse of power' by the members and the ignoring of your opinion and steamrollering of decisions by other admin staff added to an expectation to behave as some kind of example to everyone?  No ta.  I'm far happier outside the tent, pissing in.

An older friend of mine was caned on his first day of secondary school just so he knew what it felt like. An effective deterrent. So I suggest that all newbies spend a week in the cooler for a similar reason.

I also suggest that frequent posters should be obliged to flounce after every 100 posts just to keep the forum content fresh.

Anyone who includes that in their manifesto gets my vote.

There are only two things in my manifesto: 

1) Nobody is allowed to take the piss out of @Bridgehouse ; until they've been in a room with him and witnessed his winning smile first hand


2) At future forum jams, we will add an extra room, equipped with medieval weaponry. Forumites who have had "issues" will use this room to finalise such issues.
