So the era of the large valve head is well and truly over?

Last summer I was using some multi channels Marshall, can't remember what it was but it had about 4 channels and then 2 modes of every channel. Sounded great but weighed more than a car. 

In Feb I had an op for a bilateral hernia, next Jan I have to have another as one side has gone again. Weight is certainly a factor in any bit of gear I use now

Well, I have one of my valve heads up for sale and I ordered a Katana this morning.

My role as PA owner, guitar player and husband of the drummer is taking its toll on our car, let alone my back, so although the Katana isn't a micro amp it's light, loud, and has everything I need except a tuner built in. 

We already use an Arbiter Flats drum  kit, so next stop is an HK Audio Lucas Nano PA, so we'll almost be able to cycle to gigs!
