And done, just in time as the boy is waking up. Ran out of cable ties, just needed a few more but hey ho.

New in is the Throbby and the Vibe Machine (plus expression pedal), and the power supply. Very happy with this.

Very clean, neat, uniform and organised - a psychiatrist would have their work cut out with you!

Super neat! Were you able to reuse your patch cables or had to create new ones?

First time visiting this thread in a long long time. Since selling my pedals to fund a Kemper, it isn't nice looking in here

    Sweet boards!

Ha, I don’t mind admitting that my board is a labour of love!

I had to buy a few more to get the right sizes, but it’s worth it for not having to piss around with Solderless stuff and then troubleshooting issues.

My home pedal board, built out of an abandoned pedal board/case build of mine. Loads of self build pedals, always evolving. I generally only use 4-6 pedals when gigging, but at home the more the better....

But do you have a ring modulator?
Er, no.  Actually, probably yes - the Line 6 M5 may have a ring mod on it.
It does. Not that I ever understood what the point of a ring modulator was. All it does is make everything sound shit, and I can do that with no pedals.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

    Re-done mine a bit.

I tried to go all Boss for a bit but I kept coming back to the fact that I loved my MXR Distortion+ much more than any Boss equivalent. And I could never quite get the amp in a box tone that I wanted either.

So now I've got a Catalinbread SFT clone being pushed by an EQD Gray Channel and a Juansolo Jumbo Tonebender. I've only had five minutes with the GC but it seems to be what I wanted - the Dist+ ballpark, only switchable between gain settings.

Not sure if the SFT will stay---I kind of want to try the other Catalinbread Fender amp pedals instead (particularly the 5F6) but that can wait.

The wah and the loop station live on the floor, I'm waiting for some backordered cables from @designacable via Amazon for those.

Still in two minds about having two separate boards. I don't like "reaching over" pedals but equally an all in one solution would be neater.

I’m always amazed how neat other boards look.

  • Really digging this latest setup. The Mooer is great, however got a DD500 incoming to see how it gets on. Only other thing I want to replace is the tuner with a Boss Waza, but don’t think there’s enough room!

  • Cheers @Winny_Pooh ;

Taken me a while to get here, as I used to use the 6 button Marshall footswitch which really restricted the space on my board (don’t want to go any bigger) but have managed to find a way to work with just the 4 button. Gutted I’ve no room for the Muffroom Cloud though!

  • Put my Tetris skills to the test squeezing in some new pedals! Need to order a few more patch cables, then onto upgrading my power supply and the next 'checkpoint' is done!

When I had a similar set up I ordered some larger rubber feet and longer screws for the second board, then depending on what kind of stage space I had to work with I could either have them in a row or have the heightened one just in behind, and everything was accessible either way.
