@ChrisMusic, yeah man i watched it all on wednesday night...i noticed you didn't include the 3rd video, which i suspect covered glam and hair metal...and that's just fine by me as i wouldn't have wanted to watch that anyway.

it was really good, although i thought they didn't spend too much time on thrash and death metal in the 80's and 90's and they jumped too quickly into nu-metal which i would personally call a speed-bump in the history of metal!

but great viewing none the less...

not sure if you would be interested, but i really like this video on metal (more stoner and doom)...

The third episode is missing as I couldn't find it, so if anyone out there in tFB land can add it, that would be great to complete that collection.

here's a good doc about cannibal corpse i've just found on youtube (about 5-6 hours though ;-) it's in 3 parts.

am not into this type of music anymore tbh but worth watching imho (can still thrash out now and again though ;-) 

here's another about grindcore also 

have no idea why i'm watching so many metal music docs atm as i don't listen to that music so much anymore (although i still love it ;-)
