1 Learn all of the nurses names on all of the shifts. When others shout out nurse, you can shout out Annabelle or whatever, and get seen to first. Plus they talk you you. And it's nice to interact with people and it keeps the brain going.
2 Google Russian car crashes.
Unless you are in a Russian hospital post car crash.
3 Chocolate.
4 Candy Crush
If there's a hospital radio try some DJ baiting. Ask for some obscure request while implying that he ought to know of it if he's any good as a DJ.
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
Get well soon.
That’ll have to wait till I’m out... blocked by the hospital WiFi!!!!
Google the name of your favourite arcade game and put the word "Flash" after it you might find one that works, although it might be the flash player that's being blocked, I'm not computer-y enough to know.
Reading needed too much concentration, but I also learned to do Sudoku and Killer Sudoku.
Three times more people dying from flu in UK than last winter
Death toll from virus hits 155, with 35 people dying last week alone
The late night tea and toast trolley was good though.
Get well soon!
I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to
been discharged... for over a year now I have been trying to take insulin to control my blood glucose... I’ve tried practically every type on the market. It’s had cockall effect on my BG and sees me crippled with pain.
i was in for the weekend to have Intravenous insulin... I guess to see 1) if it works 2) show the doctors im not telling fibs...
lasted exactly 6 hours on the drip before the pain was intolerable and the medical team called off their little experiment... and no, the insulin had no effect on my BG, infact it went up!
so, I’m off home to contemplate the fact that I am allergic to the one drug needed to keep me alive!...
(All joking aside, I hope things work out for you, that all sounds pretty scary to me )
Still, can't be easy that blood-sugar thing. The wife harps on about me eating that much shite I could get Type 2, but I still each shite.
