Learning Pianee from an interactive app ?

I have decided I need to improve my ability on the ivories.  I could go to lessons but that’s a lot of faff driving etc, not to mention the expense.  Has anyone successfully improved their Joanna skills using a computerised tuition app ?

What I tend to do is pick a song I like, find the chords and then work out the chord inversions for the least amount of movement for my left hand. Then muck about and chuck pretty stuff in it.

On a piano it's simples to learn how to play a chord and inversions, scales, etc. I find it far simpler than a guitar.
