If we aim to meet all the requests, then we'll be doing 4 sizes, in different colours, with alternative logos, on different brands of t-shirts, and probably different styles of t-shirt too (don't go there, TT) ...

Which wouldn't really work, unless we buy/order t-shirts to each individual order which would (a) make them a lot more expensive and (b) be a lot of hassle.  Unless we use one of the tailored design services which would make them a lot lot lot more expensive.

So I'm thinking that we'll be going for XL size.  In a single colour (that works with whatever logo design we end up with).  From a mid range quality brand so we can bring them in at £10-£15 delivered.  It'll be a limited number run (probably 51 - prices fall for 50+ units) which will obviously be highly collectible in weeks to come and change hands for many times the original price in the classifieds section.

If that all works out well, we might do another run in future - probably to commemorate some other significant forum event (eg a major GasFest, or our first birthday, or whatever).

I've already asked @DDLooping (who designed our page header image) to have a go at something as well - so we might end up with a logo shoot-off at some point.

Minimal number of colours (to keep printing costs down).

Material colour will be chosen to work with the image, but will probably be white/grey/black.

Design to include the www address prominently, and reflect theFretBoard brand.

I'd really hope the price (delivered) was the right side of £15 if I was getting one. Money's tighter than it used to be so a new T-shirt is something of a luxury item in our house.

I don't mind Fruit ot L personally, I wear them every day at work.

I rather like the look of the 4 plectrum smilies that someone poster earlier! that with some phrase maybe??

Whatever you sort out is fine with me. XL in any colour is fine. Price , whatever provided it gives some gain to the coffers.

like it,  is it going to be large on the front ? medium 'left tit logo area'  or on the back ? (my personal preference)

I dunno - I am just submitting that as one potential idea (which I sort of stole from other people). I am certainly not insisting that that must be the final design, though I see no reason why we might not eventually have a range of merchandise potentially including that.
