Just to keep you updated. The guitar was insured via parcelforce. I have call tomorrow at the local office and start the claim process. I will get a pre-paid postage slip to cover the cost of the return.  Ps that wasn’t his name when I bid on the guitar it was bigyellowbum

Not sure I messaged him back say aye whatever you want to do, just pay for and send me the label and I will ship it back tomorrow, looks to me like he gonna claim it was bust in transit which I blatantly wasn’t, it’s been broken and glued back together

He's going to such great lengths for such a small amount of money. Keep all the shipping details both to and from you, then when you have been refunded contact Parcelforce with them and send them the pics clearly showing the item was damaged repaired before shipping and not during. That might teach him a lesson. He's making a  fraudulent claim.Wonder why the name change? An odd one and hassle you can do without.

Parcel Force won't just pay out his claim - an independent inspector (arranged by PF) will want to see the guitar - They will then judge what happened.

That's what happened to me when I was in a similar situation.

But as has been said - its not your problem now...………….maybe even the guy hasn't started a claim, he could just be saying that to make him look less bad.

Bigyellowbum is the username that has messaged me regarding the return and where it was bought from. Some proper dodgy chit going down

I edited my post @mikeyrob73 - bigyellowbum was his first username (even though its not written completely) so he's changed it twice recently since then.

I have completed the parcelforce claims process this morning. I will get the pre paid postage slip, scan and send it to you via the ebay returns system. You print the document and attach it to the package and bring it to either your local post office or parcelforce depot.

I'm pretty sure that the 2 orange circles are the same areas on the neck. On the pic you took you can see a chip of paint missing between the circles and a big smiling crack - on his pic the neck is A-OK at this point.

Correct - it's a shame that the guitar was misrepresented from the beginning. Who needs the hassle - I'm glad you got sorted.
