Just to keep you updated. The guitar was insured via parcelforce. I have call tomorrow at the local office and start the claim process. I will get a pre-paid postage slip to cover the cost of the return.

That's what happened to me when I was in a similar situation.
But as has been said - its not your problem now...………….maybe even the guy hasn't started a claim, he could just be saying that to make him look less bad.

i suspect that is the case, pretty much the same as his Luthier is getting a bollocking

I have completed the parcelforce claims process this morning.
I will get the pre paid postage slip, scan and send it to you via the ebay returns system.
You print the document and attach it to the package and bring it to either your local post office or parcelforce depot.
