I ask cos we genuinely dont know if we want/need to sell this..............would appreciate some thoughts as we dont want to chuck it on the bay

mrs berts peavey 8.5c PA amp  (probably with a 8u SKB rack)

just a simple, yeah its worth about tuppence happeny,  or 'you dont have a chance shifting that'

    Between £125&150 - sell it to a DJ, they're the only ones who happily lift heavy amps. And sell the rack separately, otherwise you'll end up giving it away. £50 for the rack.

    I know a few bass players with these actually.

    Seriously, it is worth about tuppence ha'penny, and no I'm not saying that because want it :).

    As @Van_Hayden said, almost no-one wants massive old-school power amps like this any more, and they're worth buttons. If you think you might ever need it again - they make a good backup power amp for almost anything - just keep it.

  • It's the perfect backup for those big gigs where you definitely don't want to have your gear break! Just run amt preamp or a pod into it ;)
