Hi @mrkb sorry haven't stopped this week - the tracks have (hopefully) arrived with @poopot who has very kindly agreed to put them up as mixing challenges.

Hi chaps. I’ll be honest, I haven’t even downloaded the recordings, I will get round to it at some point and I’ll have a listen to see if any are suitable for a mixing challenge... If folk want them sharpish I can forward the link to you...

Right, I’ve checked and double checked... I don’t have a link to the recordings... it would appear it’s been deleted...

if someone wants to email Waterrats and get the link sent direct to them that would be great!.

OK, quick mix on reaper (which ive only used for 30 mins!) and a ezmix plugin

This is the second set of "Rocks" (ie about 3pm), so I think that's @mctoot - LH guitar, @soma1975 or @flanging_Fred ?? - RH Guitar and Solo and @sev112 bass?

I’m sure someone more competent  could brush these up a bit better, I’ve just added delay, compression and a bit of panning.

I think I need to find a basic mixing course to see what’s meant to be done!

I have some on youtube and @Flanging_Fred has some via dropbox assuming they are still available.  Sounds horribly complicated : )
