First three Kings X albums. Amazing that they could pull it off live.

And in a similar vein, Galactic Cowboys.  I love Alice in Chains with Staley and Cantrell, too.
A rock band with multiple singers is a wondrous thing.

That Tallis piece is amazing. 40 separate vocal parts with eight sub-choirs of five voices each, and obviously there wasn't any multi-tracking in the mid 1500s. I've seen it done live and it's an impressive thing.

They didn't have auto-correct in the 16th century either, so they would have missed out on 'alium' gaining an extra L to suggest someone might be putting their hope in garlic (sorry, far too many years of Latin at school).

I thought Spem In Alium sounded like some sort of deeply unappetizing Medieval food ("Spem In Alium?" "no thanks, I think I ate too many larks tongues in aspic"), but this is lovely.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

I love Kansas, and again I love the fact that they've always had (at least) two guys who can sing lead vocals.  Same goes for Styx and Blue Oyster Cult.

Seeing as someone has already nicked the Eagles , I’m going to submit Tim Schmidt’s other band. The wonderful Poco ,and the track “rose of Cimarron “

This is my fave recording of spem in alium - the Tallis scholars are sooo good.
Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

Most songs from Bryndle (a so-called supergroup with Andrew Gold, Karla Bonoff, Wendy Waldman, Kenny Edwards).
If you've never heard of them and like 70s West Coast, singer/songwriter music, check them out.

A band whose ability to harmonise was always vastly underrated - in fact a band who are just vastly underrated.... could have chosen so many of their songs - beautiful Welsh voices

And of course for some angelic northern magic two voices that fit together perfectly

Was going to post the same two bands, Civil Wars were superb.

Saw a clip of Larkin Poe doing a cover of Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer the other day, excellent stuff.
