Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
I'd like to learn more directly from a teacher. I have tried three different guitar teachers, they were all set in their ways and soon the lessons became dull and repetitive.
For all the arse ache of getting to a lesson and paying for it, if I'm not getting anything more than I can get for free on YouTube why bother?
The beginner lessons were by far the most useful, getting the fretting and hand shape correct. After that because I wasn't interested in playing acoustic Beatles songs or minor pentatonic riffs they seemed lost.
I'd really like to be inspired by someone's playing and learn from them. To an extent you can do that with YouTube and tab books, but it would be great to have someone teach me their own style live.
All the guitar teachers I've met can play most of the standards, but they didn't have their own style.

If you want a professional career with your instrument you’ve either already done it, or figured out by now that buying three grand’s worth of painstakingly-historic Gibson probably isn’t the best pathway.
Not joking btw, I've always wanted to sound more like Link Wray than like an advertising jingle.
