Ed - as an aside, who is 'you'? I did consider the issue of agreeing one song to practice and I am sure it would not be insurmountable; there is enough discussion about the set list before each jam and selecting one wouldn't be an issue IMO.

I meant it as in "one would need to agree a song" or "a single song would need to be agreed".

@darthed1981 would you be up for another run at Mardy Bum (with the final chorus =D )? I enjoyed that one, but a bit surprised how off time the solo was so fancy another crack.

Oh yes I'd like another crack at that one.

I need to dig out the sasquatch long list and we can add a "gig favourites" section to it.

The gig list will be totally separate this time. The beauty of having you doing the main setlist is I can concentrate on sorting the gig.

We can also run through Mardy Bum a few times in one of the side rooms at Hudds. I’ll try to improve my drumming on that one.

It's weird, it felt good in the room (to me) until the collapse, but listening back (only once so far) I was somewhat more, er, fluid than is ideal.

I'm not even going to mention Kings of Speed. Dancing was better than I feared, especially when Em said "That's not you singing!" which I took to be a good thing.

How about setting up another room as a simpler jam session. Pick songs that are very very easy (Simple Man, All Along The Watchtower, Mustang Sally et al) , possibly without a drummer I'd be happy to bring my Trio+ to provide a reliable bass and drum track.
