This is a 1965 Framus Television Model No.5/118-54
There's some cracking in the finish (mainly on the front of the body) and a little bit of chrome wear on the pickups and trem arm but otherwise it’s in pretty smart condition. It's all original as far as I'm aware - it's even still got the rubber on the flip up bridge damper.
Not a powerhouse guitar but it can do lovely vintage 60s twangy tones (check the MP3 link below) – it can do surf stuff pretty well. I've never really figured out all those switches - I've tended to just randomly tweak them until I get a sound I like.
It comes with what I presume was the original case. This is a bit of a flimsy thing and the two external straps are broken but the handle and latches are okay. It's never been gigged or out of my house so I've never had need of a decent case.
I'm not very keen to post this guitar so I’d prefer to sell in person. I live in Kent but I also work in London so I’m happy to meet up in these areas.
I’m no expert on these guitars but if you have any questions I’ll do my best to answer them.
