    Thanks for the help guys.

    There are a few guitars that catch my eye. The 414 and 814 are staples of the lines but that 6/7 series are very interesting. I don't really need the expression system but the older models with the giant plastic panel in the side are an immediate write off, it's hideous.

    what's the difference between a 314 and an 814?
    Is it just the woods?

    The 814 has different inlays, rosette and binding from what I noticed. The finish was also better from my impression.

    Not sure if it has different bracing as well.

    Well I just remember that, when I bought my 814ce and still had my 314ce, the 814 was noticeably louder and more resonant, even my wife noticed. I did choose that 814 from 6 or so that were in various stores at the time.

    Thanks @tone1 ;;

    Unfortunately at £2999 it's more expensive than a new DLX version at Dawson's and the same as a new one at PMT.

    Mansons usually price pretty keenly, unless I've missed something that's way off the mark for a 2nd hand price?

    To my mind, I usually find Manson's prices to be a bit on the high side.

    Seems particularly bold pricing to have it up for new on the street prices.
