Just got this on Saturday..
It's a slightly older model ( serial no 0077 ) which had 2 separate inputs for the BE & HBE modes..This one was sent back to Dave Friedman to make it foot switchable between them.
It has the simple clean with no EQ for the clean channel..It does have a 3 way bright switch for the clean..
Other features include VH switch..Fat switch..C45..Half power..Sat switch
Never really been that much of a clean tone person but it's actually a really nice clean tone from it..
Now the OD channels on this is where it's at..I'm actually surprised in just how much different ground this covers..
Over the years I've had many high end amps inc Bogners-Soldano's-Elmwood etc.. But this has really surprised me at just how good it sounds..
One of my favourite amps I've ever owned was a Mark Cameron CCV-100 & i kinda regretted moving that one on..But the BE-100 reminds me quite a bit of that amp but with more of the Marshall midrange growl rather than the Bogner type mids of the CCV..
Phenomenal sounding and feeling amp..Very impressed.
Anyway here's a pic sat on my old marshall cab..
