No Email Notifications

I am no longer getting any email notifications of private messages or new posts on threads I'm following. I have checked my settings and they are still set to receive emails. Any ideas?

@digitalscream is spending time in the real world at the moment, but should be able to answer this when he gets back to cyberspace. If @monquixote has a spare minute he may be able to look at it over the weekend.

Sometimes this happens when services decide the forum is bulk mailing. Check your spam but it can even skip the spam and just disappear. Try adding the address to your safe senders or contacts.

OK, I've just looked through the logs, and mails to your address get "Service unavailable", which would ordinarily mean we'd been blacklisted (we haven't, as far as I can tell, and other mail on the same service is getting through). That error's followed up with "postmaster notify; User unknown" meaning that their service isn't recognising your email address. Which is odd, because I presume you're still getting other emails...?

I’ve got the same,  -are you on an outlook/hotmail account by any chance, wonder if there is some uniformity to it?

I’m not getting mine atm either, I’m using hotmail if it helps?

Any pending resolution to this? I'm still getting no notifications from the board at all.

It is being done by Hotmail.

I think they've really screwed up as Microsoft is junking loads of my good mail at work too.

I suggest complaining to Hotmail as there are limits to what can be done from the forum end.

Sorry guys, I haven't been able to find any resolution to this. It's definitely at Hotmail's end, but exactly what is currently beyond me

Good luck with that one, I run Exchange Server and we could never seem to send email to Hotmail. Gave up trying to contact them.

Judging by my past attempts at getting any action from the Hotmail team, just... no....

I've changed my profile contact email to a non-Hotmail one, so hopefully I'll get notifications there instead.
