The great thing about board games is that you can play variants of the rules, unlike computer games.

Rude scrabble - good sober, can be a real eye-opener after a drinkie or two.

Puerto Rico is the best game I have come across in terms of actual strategy and tactics determining the outcome and not roll of the dice.

Sometimes Scrabble or Cluedo but not often.

It is more fun when it is real houses.

The 4.5 years between turns is a bit tedious though.

Me and the Mrs went thru a stage of playing dominoes a while back. Thats entertaining, and doesn't take too long.
