Well, I went along and there were a couple of interesting things there; I came home with a Rickenbacker amp in the car!

Was going to go but can barely walk after opening the bowling yesterday. 
Batted for a good 50 as well. 

Feel like I've been run-over.......Gutted.

It was recovered from a crashed Huey North of Saigon in late '68 and a little 'Agent Orange' had spilled from a tank and burned the paint on the butt end. It was captured by North Vietnamese troops and used in a Nhạc đỏ group to promote the glory of communism before being returned to the west in exchange for 4000 Billy Joel CDs by Mike Long at ATB Guitars.

Very good show, met Adrian Thorpe and his mate who were both really approachable, nice guys. Tried out his The Dane pedal which was brilliant and they both let me play their bloody lovely guitars, a Smitty and a Patrick James Eggle. Played a ‘62 Strat priced at £15K. Best amp of the day was the RD Dualist...

Tried a few Les Pauls and came away with a Heritage H150.  Needs a bit of tidying up and someone's wired up the new pickups wrongly but to play, it was instantly more 'in tune' and resonant than the Gibson Standards and R8s I tried.  Distinct lack of amps I thought but yes, the RD did sound nice.
