stacking boosts

I have commonly stacked drive pedals in the past but the other day had some awesome results stacking boosts. I had a chance to borrow a klone and set it as a completely clean boost. I then ran my ep booster into it. It gave a brlliant Rock tone into a driven amp and seemed to add power and punch but maintain more clarity at high gain/volume than when I have pushed my amp in the same way with various od pedals. Certainly looking to use this setup for an extended period when my Fredric zombie klone arrives.

This setup may be working for me as I love the driven sound of my amp and don't really want to alter it as adding different flavour drives may do.

Great fun - I do it quite often. I also find the guitar cleans up better with volume knob adjustments, too. Absolutely pummelling an average sounding boost can make some very pleasant sounds.
